NASHVILLE, Tenn.- When the temperature drops below freezing, it can be dangerous for outdoor pets. That's why the Middle Tennessee Pet Resource Center held its third annual Hay Day Saturday. They visited dozens of homes where pets were chained up outside and delivered dog houses, dog toys, treats and of course hay to help create warmth.
"We see there's a need dogs shiver dogs get cold and so we went to bring this out and raise awareness and also really help the animals and sometimes the owners need the assistance too," said Tamasine Singer with MTPRC.
