BRENTWOOD, Tenn.- If you drive through Brentwood, you may have
noticed the yellow ribbons going up along Concord Road.
Friends and supporters,
including students at Brentwood Academy have been busy this weekend putting
them up in honor of Andrew Wilson.
The 24-year-old Specialist
4 in the Army was seriously injured in the war in Afghanistan. A roadside bomb
exploded when he was on patrol.
Wilson lost both legs, and
now after close to a dozen surgeries and rehab, Specialist Andrew Wilson is
coming home for the holidays on Tuesday.
Organizers hope that as
many Brentwood residents as possible and other Middle Tennesseans will be
standing along Franklin and Concord Roads around 11:30 Tuesday morning to
welcome Andrew home.
