Parents wait for the Last Minute Toy Store to open on Wednesday.
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- It's been another successful year for the last minute toy store, the 61-st Avenue United Methodist Church has given out gifts for more than 4,300 children.
Wednesday was the last day for the store, and organizers estimate they have handed out about 360 gifts per hour.
By the end of the season, the Last Minute Toy Store estimated they will have served over 5,000 kids in middle Tennessee. Organizers said this year the demand has been overwhelming, but many people ease the need by volunteering their time and donated their toys.
