STANTON, Ky. (AP) - Police said two men who escaped from a jail in eastern Kentucky last month have been found in Tennessee.

Officials told WLEX-TV that officers arrested 24-year-old Josh Abner of McKee and 26-year-old Phillip Wells of Richmond on Monday night in Dickson, Tennessee.

They were almost 300 miles southwest of Stanton, where police said they had escaped from the Powell County jail on December 15.
