NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It was a special night with Grammy-award winning songwriter Carole King at the Bluebird Cafe on Monday night.
Carole King teamed up with Nashville songwriters Gary Burr, Georgia Middleman, and Jim Photoglo for the special performance, which benefits Alive Hospice.
It's the 19th year for the annual fundraiser.
The non-profit provides grief support to mid-state families, spanning 12 counties across Tennessee.
"Everyone knows that the music industry is a huge supporter of a number of causes but I think Alive Hospice has supported a number of their loves ones and colleagues and they reach out every single year and we are so honored and thrilled with their support," said Alive Hospice CEO Barbara Cannon.
More than 80 songwriters are taking part in a total of 22 shows, all benefiting Alive Hospice.
