NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Nashville Predators' captain Shea Weber has been cleared to play in his return from a concussion that kept him out of four games, and he is expected to play Thursday night against Dallas.
Weber skated Thursday morning, and the Predators announced on Twitter that Weber had been cleared.
The defenseman was hurt December 23 in a collision with Stars defenseman Mark Fistric and wound up missing four games. Nashville went 3-1 without its captain, and Weber finally returned to the ice Tuesday in a public practice.
Weber was a Norris Trophy finalist last season and also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2010 Olympics.
