Winchester Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn.- A convicted child sex offender has been arrested in Winchester, by an Internet Crimes Against Children Division officer.

Detectives arrested 48-year-old Euell Cox,on a 38-count, sealed indictment stemming from child pornography after an investigation by Winchester police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Cox was previously convicted in 1993 of attempted aggravated kidnapping and attempted aggravated rape of a 9-year-old girl.

Cox was being held in the Franklin County Jail without bond. A trial date as set for March 13, 2012.
