Cookeville Business Destroyed By Fire

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - A Cookeville business has been destroyed by a massive fire.

The blaze broke out on Tuesday night at a re-upholstering shop on Fisk Road.

Fire officials believe it was sparked by a wood burning stove.

It was a tough fight for the crews with flames shooting through the roof and spreading quickly.

Officials said the building was a total loss with the fire causing about $100,000 in damage.
