MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. - Interstate 65 in Sumner County was partially blocked for hours after a crash involving several cars and two 18-wheelers.
Officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said that two tractor trailers and several passenger cars crashed on Interstate 65 near mile marker 102, near the Bethel Road Exit just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
One of the tractor trailers overturned and blocked the southbound lanes of the interstate. The northbound lanes were blocked by the other trailer.
Officials said the passenger vehicles were not directly involved in the crash, but rather were damaged by the debris from the wreck.
The Millersville Police Chief said no injuries were reported.
The road was re-opened by 1 a.m.
