I-40 East Partially Blocked After Crash In Hickman County - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

HICKMAN COUNTY, Tenn. – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 remain partially blocked following a crash in Hickman County on Tuesday morning.

It happened around 5:10 a.m. at mile marker 151. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer drove off into the median and burst into flames.

The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Centerville Hospital.

The left lane was still blocked at mile marker 151 due to the pavement being damaged in the fire. TDOT estimated it would be cleared by 11:30 a.m.
