NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Monroe Harding is a program designed to help at-risk youth learn essential life skills and give them a fresh start. Now many of Monroe Harding's residents will also get a good night's sleep.

Volunteers and staff, along with residents spent some time Wednesday making beds at the Monroe Harding facility.

A recent fundraiser by the First Presbyterian Church Women brought in so much money, the staff was able to purchase new box springs, mattresses, and pillows as well as other essential items. The residents used to sleep on thin, foam mattresses. Now, they'll be able to sleep comfortably in a safe environment.
