NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Crews are currently working to clean up nearly 600 gallons of diesel fuel at the Cedar Creek Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake Thursday.

The spill occurred around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.

Officials said that most of the spill was contained on shore, but some did reach water. A spokesperson from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation said that a tree had fallen on two diesel and gasoline lines on private property.

The Tennessee Emergency management Agency said a contractor has been hired to clean up the spill.
