NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Capitol Hill has a hero in the form State Representative Tony Shipley.
While in town for the General Assembly, Representative Shipley a trained paramedic observed a man having a seizure, and jumped in to assist.
"I was out with some friends completely out of character for me, complete someplace where I never go. So it was one of those God things, you know?" said the Representative.
One of the victim's coworkers, who witnessed the event, wrote an e-mail thanking the representative and praising him for his "quick action."
"It was just being at the right place at the right time and being able to help," he said.
Shipley is a republican who represents the 2nd District in East Tennessee.
