Police: Man Shot In Ankle After Robber Steals Pants

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said a man was shot in the ankle after a robber made a bizarre request overnight.

Police said two people were changing a tire on 28th Avenue North near Hadley Park when a man walked up to them with a gun. He ordered one of the victims to take off his pants and hand them over. The man complied.

Police said the gunman shot him in the ankle and ran away.

The victim was taken to Baptist Hospital for treatment.

The suspect was still on the loose.

Police continue to investigate.
