NASHVILLE, Tenn.- With the economy in the condition it is in, and thousands of Tennesseans looking for a job, one insurance company's plan to hire is good news.

One of the nation's largest insurance companies is looking to hire several thousand people. State Farm is looking to add 3,000 employees and another 900 agents across the country. The new people will fill positions left empty during the recession.
