Broken Fire Hydrant Causes Issues in Fire Fight

Old Hillsboro Pike in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn.- A broken fire hydrant caused problems Saturday night for firefighters.

Firefighters responded to a house on Old Hillsboro Pike in Franklin, but because the hydrant didn't work, firefighters had to haul in water. Fortunately, they were still able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the room it started in.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Saturday night.
