Christian County officials believe Jessie Goslyn is responsible for the death of her husband and Fort Campbell solider, Vincent Goslyn.
Jarred Long was picked up in Colorado, but detectives say he was a part of this murder in Christian County Friday night.CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky.- Christian County officials aren't releasing many details, but they believe Jessie Goslyn is responsible for the death of her husband and Fort Campbell solider, Vincent Goslyn.
Investigators say Jessie Goslyn implicated herself in the crime during an interview with deputies Saturday morning. She is now behind bars charged with murder along with another man, 24-year-old Jarred Long. He was picked up in Colorado, but detectives say he was a part of this murder in Christian County Friday night.
Jessie and Vincent Goslyn had three very young children. Their future remains uncertain with their father now gone, and their mother in jail under a $500,000 bond.
"Our main goal is to save the kids now, and to make sure that they are taken care of, and I'm sure that Ft. Campbell will be instrumental in that. We are very saddened by the loss of life in our county and especially with him being a soldier; it doesn't make it any easier," said Captain Chris Miller with the Christian County Sheriff's Department.
There were two 911 calls made from the scene. One of them came from Jessie Goslyn. Deputies say she said there was some type of altercation, and she sounded upset and emotional. They do believe she was the last one to see Vincent Goslyn alive.
