JACKSON, Tenn.- Nearly a
dozen people were arrested during a crackdown on people buying pseudoephedrine
products to make meth.
The Jackson-Madison County
Metro Narcotics Unit arrested 11 people, and now they are facing charges of promotion
of meth manufacturing.
In addition to the
pseudoephedrine, investigators also found meth and marijuana on them. Pseudoephedrine
is the primary ingredient in cold medicines, and it is also a common ingredient
used to make meth.
