NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The
Nashville Mobile Market is celebrating its first anniversary. The market
tries to make sure people living in areas of financial, physical and education
barriers have a choice for good and healthy foods.
Sunday, the Mobile Market
set up and celebrated at the Edgehill Apartments.
The idea of the Mobile Market grew from the Edgehill community's desire
to create a healthy grocery store option for their area.
"Because right now
the biggest problem is: people can't get to healthy foods and as a result, they
have more unhealthy lifestyles," said Ravi Patel with the Nashville Mobile Market.
