NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Occupy protesters plan to hold a rally Monday afternoon to show their disapproval of a bill that could evict them from Legislative Plaza.
The protesters plan on creating a so-called "gauntlet" that lawmakers will have to pass through as they arrive for a session Monday night. Leaders of the group said that protestors will stand in parallel lines in front of the building and legislators will have to pass through in order to enter the building.
The bill being proposed is scheduled to be heard by the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday morning. If the passes it would create a law that keeps being from camping overnight on public property.
