NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Bad news for drivers, gas prices have been steadily climbing and showing no signs of backing off.
Triple A reported a gallon of unleaded gas is averaging $3.38 in Tennessee, very high for the winter months. Officials said things are likely to get worse. Analyses indicate drivers could be paying $4.00 a gallon by the end of summer, and believe it or not, that's not the worst-case scenario.
It could come down to a showdown between Israel and Iran. At least one analyst said if that happens, gas could rise above the six dollar mark. That estimate doesn't even take into account the possibility of tropical weather disrupting operations in the gulf.
