NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Grisly new details have been released in the trial of a man accused of murdering his girlfriend and her cousin .
Demeko Duckworth is on trial in Nashville for the 2010 double murder of Asia Wade and her cousin Clarence Goins. On Tuesday, the medical examiner who worked the case discussed in chilling detail, the injuries prosecutors said Duckworth inflicted on Asia Wade.
"She was brought from the scene to our facility wearing clothes, there was also an electrical cord around her neck," said the Medical Examiner.
The cord that bound Asia Wade's neck was presented to the jury as evidence. The medical examiner went down the numerous injuries found on the mother of three's body, including nine stab wounds, and slashes on her face.
Earlier in the day, Wade's sister recalled the grisly scene prosecutors said Duckworth left behind. She claimed she saw blood spattered on the window of the home.
