Police: 20-Year-Old MTSU Student Says She Was Raped

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Sex crimes detectives in Murfreesboro said they are investigating a possible rape near the Middle Tennessee State University campus.

Detectives said a 20-year old student reported she was raped. The incident happened within the past 48 hours.

The victim said it happened at Raiders Crossing apartment complex close to the campus.

Since the report, police have worked to develop leads, and have interviewed at least one suspect.

Police said there will be a good possibility of an arrest, but did not release any other details.
