CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- One of
the men wanted for opening fire on an Oak Grove police officer during an armed
robbery has been apprehended.
Clarksville Police said that 25-year-old Henry Jerome Brown was
caught in Dickson on Monday after a brief chase. Brown was located in an apartment complex on Barbeque Rd.
Brown and two other men, Justin Horstead and Christopher Walker were accused of robbing an automotive
parts store in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and
pistol whipping at least two victims at the store.
Officials said during the suspects flee from the store one
the suspects fired shots at Oak Grove police officers. No officers
were injured in the pursuit.
Earlier this month, police in Clarksville narrowly
missed arresting Christopher Walker at a local
motel. Surveillance video showed that Walker was able to flee the area
just moments before police surrounded the hotel.
Walker and Horstead are still on the loose and considered by
police to be armed and dangerous.
