GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.- Goodlettsville Police raided the Expressway Citgo on Louisville Highway in Goodlettsville for the second time in two weeks on Friday.

On January 27th officers raided the market and seized 400 packets of synthetic marijuana.

"Just immediately after that we continued to receive information that they continued to sell the packets," said Goodlettsville Police chief Richard Pope.

An investigation of the store lead police to obtain a search warrant, which they executed Friday around 3 p.m.

"We did seize less than 30 packets of the synthetic marijuana. It was labeled botanical incense and botanical potpourri," Pope said.

This makes the third raid in this city in just the last two weeks. The chief wanted to use this latest raid as a warning to other store owners in Goodlettsville.

"I can assure any other market owner in the city if we find out you're selling it, be prepared to see us come through the front door with a search warrant," the chief said.

Store owners Nabil M. Ayoub and Ekram M. Ayoub were issued state citations. They have yet to appear in court for the citations police issued them last month.
