NOLENSVILLE, Tenn.- One of the teenagers in a crash Saturday has died. Investigators say speed was a factor in that wreck.
Taylor Brewer, 16, died after he crashed the pickup truck he was driving Saturday. He was transported to the hospital by Life Flight but did not survive. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, he was speeding on Haley Lane in Williamson County when he swerved to miss another car. His truck hit a ditch and overturned hitting a fence, mailbox and some trees.
Brewer's passenger, a 14-year-old, was also injured. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but he is expected to recover from his injuries.
Brewer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
