NASHVILLE, Tenn.- This
weekend, Gaylord Opryland is offering up something a little different for the
entire family, and it's already getting rave reviews from even the toughest
critics.
The kids went crazy for
Shrek, Fiona and Puss in Boots. The Dreamworks cast is back in town for
Gaylord's Family Fun Night. Kids and kids-at-heart spent the night crafting,
dancing and going on scavenger hunts.
Then they'll wash it down
with some swamp juice and ogre treats.
"We're really trying to
take family entertainment to the next level. We've had about 500 folks come out
tonight," explained Jenny Barker with Gaylord Opryland Resort. "We're
excited to be able to have more and more events like these throughout the year,
and of course they'll be back for a Country Christmas too."
Organizers plan to put on
more family fun nights this spring and summer.
