Bonnaroo Halts Ticket Sales After High Demand

Posted: Updated:

MANCHESTER, Tenn. – Ticket sales for Bonnaroo were suspended over the weekend only hours after they went on sale.

The music festival's website had a message saying an overwhelming demand for the tickets inundated their computer system. Within hours of sales kicking off Saturday morning, there was a system shut-down.

Organizers said they were trying to fix the problem and would announce by the end of Monday when tickets would go on sale again for the festival, which is held annually in June in Manchester, about 65 miles southeast of Nashville.

This year's lineup for the four-day festival includes the reunited Beach Boys, along with Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish and Bon Iver.
