Joshua StacyCADIZ, Ky. – Police in Cadiz, Kentucky are searching for a second suspect in the assault and robbery of a 13-year-old boy in a church parking lot.
Police have issued arrest warrants for robbery and assault for 21-year-old Joshua Paul Stacy. Police said Stacy and another man, 18-year-old Deonte (T.C.) Byers, assaulted the 13-year-old around 8:40 p.m. Friday in the parking of East Cadiz Baptist Church on Third Street.
The 13-year-old boy suffered a broken nose and minor abrasions, and was treated at Trigg County Hospital.
Police said two other juveniles witnessed the strong-armed robbery and were questioned.
Byers was arrested the following morning at his homeand charged with first degree robbery, second degree assault, and tampering with physical evidence.
