COLUMBIA, Tenn. – A shooting left two people dead and one seriously injured may be connected to a love triangle.
It all started around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Gulf Gas station on East James Campbell Boulevard. Police said Ronald Walton Glass drove up to the gas station and opened fire on Anthony Clinton Kelley and Jada Renee Baxter. Glass then turned the gun on himself.
Baxter, age 37, was pronounced dead at the scene. 21-year-old Kelley was hit multiple times and was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. 62-year-old Glass, the gunman, was transported to Maury Regional Hospital where he died.
Police said that the shooting was not random and that all the individuals involved knew each other. So far, police have not identified the motive behind the shooting.
