CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - After a string of thefts in Montgomery County, two people have been taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary.
Police believe Shane Thomas Androws, 25, and Taryn Acacia Baggett, 23, were responsible in a number of unsolved residential burglaries in Clarksville.
Androws was linked to the theft over $40,000 of electronics, jewelry and firearms taken from four different homes.
Police said Baggett was a lookout for Androws on one of the thefts and also transported many of the stolen items.
Numerous items from the burglaries were found and returned when they were taken into custody.
Androws, who is a convicted felon, allegedly had purchased a handgun and had it in the car with him.
Androws was held on four counts of aggravated burglary, convicted felon going armed, and had outstanding warrants served for driving on revoked, and failure to obey traffic control device. His bond was set at $411,000.
Baggett was charged with aggravated burglary and theft. Her bond was set at $10,000.
Police said Androws was on probation for robbery. Baggett was on probation for unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Police said their investigation is ongoing, and more charges were expected.
