NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A tornado warning has been issued for
parts of Middle Tennessee including: White County, Cumberland County, Van Buren
County and Warren County.
The warning was issued just before 6 p.m. and will expire at
6: 45 p.m.
Several severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for
Northern Van Buren County, Northeastern Warren County, Southern White County,
and Southwestern Cumberland County.
National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated severe
thunderstorms capable of producing one inch hail and with damaging winds in
excess of 60 mph. Meteorologists said that
the town of Spencer, was likely to get hit by these storms.
