Fire At Bellevue Home Rekindles For Second Time

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A fire that destroyed a home in Bellevue on Wednesday night rekindled for the second time on Thursday morning.

It started back up around 7 a.m. at the home on Asberry Drive, near the Davidson/Williamson County line. It had rekindled earlier around 4 a.m.

When fire crews got on the scene around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, there were flames tearing through the home.

The original fire destroyed about half of the house. No one was inside. The owner had recently passed away, and the house was vacant.

It's believed that the fire started in the garage, but they were still investigating to determine what caused it.
