Truck Catches Fire After Rollover Crash On I-40 West

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A truck caught fire after a rollover crash on I-40 west near Bellevue.

It happened just after 6 a.m. Friday just past mile marker 197.

SKY 5 HD showed a pickup truck on its side in the grassy area on the side of the interstate. Heavy smoke was billowing from the truck.

Metro dispatch reported the driver got out of the car safely, and received only minor injuries.

The right lane was blocked while crews worked to clear the wreck.
