Titans Hike Tickets In Lower Bowl For 2012 Season

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Titans are following up a winning record by raising 2012 ticket prices for fans with some of the best seats.

Fans will pay $6 more per ticket in the lower bowl of LP Field, and Don MacLachlan, Titans executive vice president/administration, said prices will remain the same in the upper deck. The Tennessean first reported the increase on its website Friday.

MacLachlan says the Titans explored all their options before deciding on the increase. He says the hike brings the team's lower-bowl seats closer to the prices of other NFL teams for such sections while remaining among the league's cheapest.

The Titans did not raise prices after going 8-8 in 2009 or 6-10 in 2010. They went 9-7 in coach Mike Munchak's first season.
