Shelley Mook
SHEBLYVILLE, Tenn. – Tuesday marked one year since the disappearance of a Shelbyville mother and teacher.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said that although a year has passed, they are still no closer to locating Shelley Mook.
Mook disappeared February 28 after she dropped off her 6-year-old daughter at her ex-husband's home. Her burned out car was found in Murfreesboro that same night, where she had recently moved.
Police canvassed the area and searched the home of Mook's ex-husband, but all to no avail.
Mook is presumed dead-- but investigators say they need to find her body before they can charge anyone.
The reward for information in her case now totals $20,000.
