March Is National Red Cross Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - March is Red Cross Month. The organization works thousands of disasters every year, in addition to collecting blood across the nation.

Recently, the Heart of Tennessee chapter here in the mid-state has helped nearly a hundred families get through house fires, assisted nearly 200 military families and collected thousands of units of blood.

To help them celebrate, the American Red Cross is asking that you volunteer with them or donate blood.
