NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police need help identifying a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman during an attempted robbery in her Berry Hill home.
Police said the 28-year-old victim lives in the area of Rosedale Avenue. She reported that the suspect knocked on her back door, then came to her front door before 10 a.m. on February 22. When she answered, the man spoke Spanish and asked for "Dave". She replied that no Dave lived there, and that's when he allegedly pulled out a pistol, ordered her inside and demanded money or gold.
When she told him she didn't have any, he allegedly sexually assaulted her and then fled the scene.
Berry Hill police responded, and Metro's Sex Crimes unit joined the investigation.
The man is described as Latino, 5'6 to 5'7" tall with a slim build. His left eyebrow is pierced with a silver hoop, and his left nostril is also pierced with silver jewelry. The victim reported he wore blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a navy blue hoodie.
