GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Andrei Kostitsyn scored the only goal in the shootout to give the Nashville Predators a 5-4 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday night.
Kostitsyn, shooting first for the Preds, beat Mike Smith through his legs for the win.
Phoenix trailed 4-2 early in the third, but Oilver Ekman-Larrson and Raffi Torres scored to help send the game to overtime.
Martin Erat had a goal and two assists for Nashville.
