DAISY KING / MISS DAISY'S KITCHEN
Bottom layer:
4 eggs
1 c sugar
1 c self-rising flour
1/2 c butter,softened
1 16-oz can chocolate syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 t salt
Combine all ingredients in large bowl of mixer.Mix well. Pour into 9-inch greased pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
Middle layer:
1/2 c butter, softened
2 c confectioners sugar
2 T green creme de menthe
Blend all ingredients in large bowl of mixer until fluffy. Iced the cooled brownies. Refrigerate until firm.
Top layer:
1 c chocolate chips
6 T butter
Melt chocolate chips and butter in double boiler or heavy saucepan. Cool slightly. Spread over creme de menthe mixture,covering cake completely. Cool entire cake.
Yields: 12 large brownies or 24 small brownies
