I-65 South Blocked For Six Hours After Rollover Crash - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - All lanes of I-65 south were shut down for about six hours overnight after a tractor trailer overturned.

It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday near the Long Hollow Pike exit. The tractor trailer, that was said to be hauling auto parts, rolled over and off the interstate.

Police said the driver was distracted when he allegedly went to grab a candy bar on the floor, but fell asleep while reaching for it.

He was treated and released from the hospital. His identity was not released.

The crash caused several lanes to be blocked off until just before 4 a.m.
