RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -There are some new twists in the chase for Peyton Manning: The San Francisco 49ers have taken a look at him, the Miami Dolphins are out and the Denver Broncos are watching him throw at Duke.

Denver Bronco's executive John Elway and coach John Fox arrived in North Carolina Friday where they watched Peyton Manning workout at Duke.

The Broncos officials landed at Raleigh-Durham airport about 12:15 p.m. CDT and got into a white van near the plane.

A person told The Associated Press that Manning was going to work out at Blue Devils facilities Friday afternoon for the Broncos. Manning has been rehabilitating from neck surgeries in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Another person confirmed to the AP that Manning phoned the Miami Dolphins on Thursday to advise them he'll sign elsewhere, and the team will turn its attention to free agent quarterback Matt Flynn.

Manning also is expected to work out for the Tennessee Titans, though the specific day is not known, sources told ESPN.

Manning was flown into Nashville from Raleigh on Wednesday afternoon for a meeting with Tennessee Titans leaders. He met with them for nearly 8 hours before flying back to Raleigh.
