MTSU To Play Vols In Second Round Of NIT Monday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 4 Middle Tennessee State University will take on top-seeded Tennessee in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament on Monday night.

The Blue Raiders will travel to Knoxville for the game at approximately 6 p.m. at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Volunteers (19-14) beat Savannah State in the first round. Middle Tennessee (26-6) beat Marshall.

It will be aired locally on ESPN.

The winner will play against the winner of Miami/Minnesota game in Wednesday's quarterfinal.
