NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A wreck involving a diesel fuel spill blocked access to downtown Nashville from Shelby Avenue for a couple of hours on Monday morning.
The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. at Shelby and Interstate Drive, next to LP Field.
A car struck a tractor trailer, and its fuel tank was punctured. Several gallons of fuel spilled on the road.
Police blocked the road, just before the bridge, in order to clean up the spill. It was cleared by the afternoon.
There was no word on injuries.
