RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. – A woman was injured after crashing her car into a tree in Rutherford County on Monday morning.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Denise Haynes was driving westbound on East Jefferson Pike when her 2002 Ford F-150 went off the right side of the road.
She overcorrected, skid off the other side of the road and her truck hit a large tree.
She was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Her condition was unknown.
The THP report said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Police were notified of the crash at 7:11 a.m., but it was unclear what time the wreck happened.
The investigation is ongoing.
