Ethics Complaint Against Metro School Board Dropped

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The ethics complaint filed against the Metro Nashville School Board has been dropped.

The complaint was brought by a representative of the Service Employees International Union. It was related to the news last week that Dr. Jesse Register had not filed financial disclosure forms, and that School Board members weren't required to do so.

The SEIU dropped the complaint, following a legal opinion that the Board sets its own ethics policies.
