Crash Partially Blocks I-40 West Near Hermitage

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two lanes of I-40 west near Hermitage were blocked by a crash.

It happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday just before Stewarts Ferry Pike. A viewer sent pictures that showed a truck and a car that may have hit head-on.

There was no word on injuries.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation estimated it would be cleared by 11:30 a.m.
