One Lane Of I-40 Westbound Closed At Loosahatchie

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - A large hole has formed in a westbound lane of Interstate 40 at the Loosahatchie River bridge.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation has closed one lane of the highway just east of the bridge in Fayette County for emergency repairs. TDOT crews which will remove any loose concrete and then repair the hole. The new concrete will have to cure for a time.

The right westbound lane of I-40 will remain closed at mile marker 29.5 until repairs are completed
