Preds Clinch Playoff Spot; Tickets Go On Sale Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators clinched a playoff spot with the Anaheim Ducks' regulation win over San Jose Sharks on Wednesday night.

The Predators are just one point behind Detroit in the race for the No. 4 seed and home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs, following the Columbus Blue Jackets' win over the Red Wings.

The Predators and Red Wings meet in a pivotal game Friday night in Detroit at 6:30 p.m.

Playoff tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. Tickets are available at the Bridgestone Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com, nashvillepredators.com or by calling 615-770-PUCK (7825).
