LAS VEGAS – The ACM Awards in Las Vegas featured something a little different during one of the performances on Sunday night.
Martina McBride and Train's Pat Monahan teamed up to help New Jersey couple Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci get married on stage while they sang McBride's "Marry Me."
Davidson and Tucci's ceremony - quick even for notoriously quickie Vegas weddings - went on behind the singers during the performance and fans could hear the bride and groom say "I will" before their first kiss as a married couple, bringing the crowd to its feet.
McBride personally hand-picked Davidson and Tucci to wed during the TV performance. The couple met at a support group for young widows and widowers in 2009 after losing their spouses.
"Our life has come full circle. We'll never forget about our spouses, we'll always honor them," the couple said before the ceremony.
Their families watched the wedding from home, along with millions of country music fans.
Monahan first wrote "Marry Me" for Train's 2009 album, "Save Me, San Francisco." McBride recently recorded a version of the track with Monahan for her latest release, "Eleven."
